Disney's FASTPASS system is one of the best ways to experience the
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster during the busy portions of the day.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is one of the select attractions at the Disney-MGM Studios that participates in the FASTPASS program. Below is an overview of how it works.

What do I need to have in order to get a FASTPASS?

All you need is your park admission ticket. The magnetic stripe on the back of the pass works as a unique identifier and is the only item that will get you a FASTPASS ticket.

How do I get a FASTPASS?

To get a FASTPASS, go to the FASTPASS distribution area and look for the FASTPASS machines. Insert your ticket into the machine, and seconds later, a piece of paper will print out. This is your FASTPASS ticket. Take the FASTPASS ticket that prints out, along with your park admission ticket.

How does FASTPASS work?

Printed on the FASTPASS ticket is a time frame that you may come back to enjoy the attraction. When your time comes around, proceed to the special FASTPASS Return line and present your ticket. Once admitted, you will walk right past the huge standby line and experience a minor wait of a few minutes at most. You can't use your FastPass before the first printed time, and you can't use it after the last printed time. If you, for some reason, miss your return time, you can still wait in the normal line to
ride. You can only have one FastPass at a time. You must wait until after you use your current FastPass before you get another one for another attraction. However, if your return time is more than 2 hours away, you can get another FASTPASS ticket before using your current one.

Is there a limit on how many times I can FASTPASS the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster?

Nope! You can FASTPASS as many times as the system will let you.

So basically I can get a FASTPASS anytime I want?

Technically, yes. However, there is a quota of FASTPASS tickets given out per day. For every 5 minute block, there is a set amount of tickets given out. The time you get is wholly dependent on how many other people have gotten FASTPASS tickets for that day. It is not unusual for all the

FASTPASS tickets to be distributed by 4:00 or 5:00.

Can I "child swap" with FASTPASS?

Each person and your child is REQUIRED to have a FASTPASS ticket! The only exception is if your child was admitted to the park without admission(only children under the age of 3 are applicable).

What if I can't get the FASTPASS machine to work?
Usually there is a Disney Cast Member there to assist guests. If all else fails, try another machine.

How many times is FASTPASS good for?
Your FASTPASS is good for 1 ride per ticket.

Can I exchange/cancel my FASTPASS?
No, once you have it, its yours and cannot be exchanged or cancelled.
